BRODEC & PARTNERS at the 2026 Shopping Club event

In June, our office participated in the traditional Shopping Club event, which took place at the Hotel Maximus near the Brno Dam. The office was represented by Martin Tonner, Karel Masopust and David Špelina.

Simulated tender procedure

Karel served as a commentator during a simulated public procurement procedure. This practical exercise allowed participants to experience the tendering process in real-time while evaluating the strategies and procedural steps taken by the contracting authority, suppliers, and key stakeholders.

Discussion contribution on the adequacy of contractual terms

Karel, alongside Michal Šilhánek, led a discussion on the adequacy of contractual terms, addressing a long-standing pain point in public procurement for suppliers and contracting authorities alike. The session generated an active dialogue centered on termination-without-cause clauses and the limitation of contractual penalties.
