Interview on Public Procurement: Practice, Trends, and Future Directions

Partner Karel Masopust gave an interview to the Legalweb.cz portal, in which he discusses current issues in public procurement law as well as the firm’s long-term direction in this area.

In the interview, he emphasizes in particular his comprehensive approach to his practice: “We have been active in public procurement for a long time and in a systematic manner, on both sides of the relationship: we represent both contracting authorities and contractors. Thanks to this, we see the issues from both perspectives, which has significant value in practice.”

He also discusses his new role as deputy editor-in-chief of the professional journal Veřejné zakázky and current trends in public procurement. Among these, he mentions, for example, the approach of contractors from third countries and the growing importance of cybersecurity in public procurement.
