Jan Brodec in an interview for LegalWeb: We are writing the history of sports law

Managing partner Jan Brodec gave an interview to the LegalWeb.cz portal, in which he discussed current topics in the field of sports law and the future direction of our law firm.

In the interview, Jan Brodec talks about the recently prepared anti-doping agreement for Oktagon MMA, which aims to spread across Europe. "This is a fundamental step in the history of sports law, especially in relation to combat sports that are outside the WADA structure, which is mainly MMA," explains Jan Brodec.

The firm also participated in the founding of the Czech Esports Association and provides legal services to other sports organizations, including the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport at Charles University.

Jan Brodec sees the potential for further growth of the firm primarily in cross-border dispute resolution and public procurement with an international dimension. "This area is key for our office. I see potential for further growth here, given the current development of international trade," says Jan Brodec, who is involved in cross-border dispute resolution both as a lawyer and at the academic level as an associate professor at the Faculty of Law of Charles University.
