Managing Partner Jan Brodec at ICE Prague on International Commercial Arbitration

From October 24 to 26, 2024, Prague hosted the second annual ICE Prague conference focused on international commercial arbitration. Jan Brodec participated in this event as a speaker.

Jan has extensive experience as a lawyer and arbitrator in domestic and international disputes under Czech arbitration rules, as well as under ICC, VIAC, DIS, and UNCITRAL rules. In the field of sports arbitration, he acts as an arbitrator at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) in Lausanne, at the Arbitration Court of the Czech Football Association, and as vice-chairman of the National Arbitration Court for Sport in the Czech Republic.

His expertise covers international trade, arbitration, international insolvency law, and sports law. He is also a court-appointed expert in the field of foreign legal relations, specializing in international trade, arbitration, and private international law.

The second annual ICE Prague conference has become an important meeting place for experts in the field of international commercial arbitration. A big thank you goes to all participants, speakers, and the organizing team, without whom this event could not have been so successful. We hope this was not our last meeting in Prague!
