The Public Procurement Journal Enters a New Phase
4/10/2026

With the publication of its second issue of 2026, the specialized journal Public Procurement is entering a new phase in its operations. The new issue brings a number of significant changes affecting both its management and its overall direction.
The Union of Public Procurement Administrators has become the new publisher, and Michal Šilhánek has taken over as editor-in-chief. At the same time, the editorial board has been renewed, with the ambition to further develop professional discourse in the field of public procurement and enhance the quality of published content.
The current issue also includes a professional article by our partner Karel Masopust, which addresses the application of Section 46 of the Public Procurement Act to evaluable data. The article reflects on current issues of interpretation and offers a practical perspective on the matter.
We wish the journal every success under its new leadership and believe that its future development will contribute to deepening the professional debate in this dynamically evolving field.
